  1. Just found your site this winter. Very lovely. Is there any plans for a garden tour in 2013? Any idea of the date?

    • Thanks Andrea! The tours run every summer. Generally the Fort St John Garden tour is on a Sunday in the middle of July, The Dawson Creek Garden Tour is on the last Sunday of July and The Progress Garden Tour is on a weekday during the last week of July. I will post the actual dates, times and other information as soon as I find out.

      Warmest regards, Shannon

  4. Hi I wanted to get in touch with you, because I believe that your former home has now become my inspiration. We are just next the Kennels. I am currently a teacher in FSJ and now doing the daily commute from Bessbourgh for the remainder of the school year. If you would like to get in touch I would love some gardening pointers and maybe you can come by and get some cuttings for your gardening restart.

    • Sorry things have been so busy that I just saw this comment now. It does sound like my former home/garden is now yours! I would love to help out in any way I can…plant identification etc. It would be great just to see some pictures of the gardens now. I often wonder how things are growing out there. Thanks for the generous offer to share cuttings. I don’t make it down your way very often anymore but you never know. I wish you all the best…it’s a wonderful place to live!
